Senator Emily Randall: October 2021 Meeting opportunities

Email from the office of Senator Emily Randall offering meeting opportunities

Good morning, Friends of Harper Pier!

I’m Sarah, Senator Emily Randall’s aide, and we have been receiving many emails (and of course reviewing conversations within the awesome Facebook group!) regarding concerns about Kitsap Transit’s proposed plan to use Harper Pier for mooring its fast ferries. As the senator representing the 26th legislative district, which includes her hometown of Port Orchard, Senator Randall wants to take the time to meet with neighbors so she can be the best voice representing community sentiment on this issue.

Although we originally intended on hosting one big meeting with Harper Pier neighbors, folks emailed in a variety of time/place requests so instead we have a few different options for us to connect on this issue:

Tuesday, October 12th 1-1:30pm - Zoom with Senator Randall

This option is Zoom call with other Harper Pier folks & Senator Randall only.

RSVP by replying to this email, and I will forward a calendar event with a Zoom link.

Wednesday, October 13th 3pm – Coffee Hour at Café Corvo (Bremerton)

This option is our monthly in-person coffee hour open to all constituents, but conversations are always a mix!

RSVP by replying to this email, and I will share driving instructions & timing of this conversation.

Wednesday, October 13th 7-8pm – Kitsap Transit’s Harper Pier Community Meeting

This is hosted by Kitsap Transit, and we know that many of you plan to attend already. We will be listening in person and/or online, so we’ll be present to hear you all share your thoughts there!

RSVP here to Kitsap Transit’s meeting

Thursday, October 28th 5:30pm – Zoom Coffee Hour with Senator Randall

This option is our monthly virtual coffee hour, open to all constituents, but a good chance to connect and update on this issue.

RSVP here to sign up for our monthly Zoom coffee hour!

We hope that at least one of these options will work for you to connect with us – if not, please keep sending us comments via email, or I can work with you to find a different option. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to talking soon!

Kind regards,
